Our Experience

Rating:        6/10

Soiler alert - I was looking forward to this movie, because I love Emma Thompson and this is quite a genre change for her. It's the same story you've seen a hundred times, the reason for the kidnapping is a bit different, and I'm sorry, but some people are stupid and I don't understand their marriage dynamics... but unfortunately it a same-old-same-old story. I don't think the ending was necessary - could Jack have fit on the door? - but I can understand why they chose to do it that way. Not bad, but not sure if I'll watch it again.
